We construct timber framed structures for private and community use, combining contemporary design with both traditional and modern carpentry methods. Traditional timber framing, otherwise known as structural post and beam carpentry, is the method of making a structural post and beam frame that is load bearing. The beams within the frame are connected using traditional mortise and tenon joints and secured with wooden hand riven pegs. Timbers are sustainably sourced whenever possible.
A complete design and build service for small scale timber structures, such as glamping pods, cabins, garden shelters, sheds, additions, garages, studios, and bridges is available.
Combined with modern, energy efficient natural building technologies, our timber frames offer unique and environmentally conscious building possibilities.
